Commissioned by Derby City Council Museums. This 1:43rd scale scratch built model was constructed to a strict brief ensuring complete accuracy, creating a miniature version of the building as it was in 1906.

The model was commissioned by the ‘Arkwright Society’ to depict how the the Cromford Mill complex would have appeared circa 1796. The main reason for its construction, was for educational use, allowing the guides to explain the workings of the mill to the visiting public.
